Property Group Project Manager

Council's Property Group have an opening for an exceptional Project Manager for their Property & Facilities Management team. Reporting to the Team Leader Property & Facilities Management, this position will be key in assisting with the coordination and delivery of Project & Facilities Management of the Council's Property Group portfolio. The portfolio consists of over 300 community and commercial investment properties, approximately 200 parks, 16 pensioner housing complexes, 2 municipal swimming pools, a port and an airport. To be successful in this role you will have experience in the implementation of industry best practice health and safety compliance, asset management, procurement, facilities management, contract management and project management. A thorough understanding of the working mechanisms of New Zealand Standards Conditions of Contract is a key requirement. You will need a minimum of 5 years team project management experience and qualifications in building construction, engineering or a related trade/profession. You will also have superior interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with contractors and customers. We want you to provide us with knowledgeable advice and be a front-runner on the Group's asset and facilities matters. We're not looking for just anybody, we're looking for the best!
