Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

The Senior Agribusiness Valuer is a new role created for the purpose of assessing agribusiness property valuations independently of the credit origination and decisioning process. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Completion of agribusiness property valuations in accordance with valuation policy and procedures.
  • Analysis of rural property sales and maintenance of rural sales database.
  • Providing relief for the Valuations Manager when on leave and assist the Valuations Manager with enquiries and reporting as required.
  • Developing and delivering valuation specific training to Agribusiness bankers.
  • Enhancing existing valuation technical analysis, credit policies and process
  • Researching and monitoring market reports and data to continuously improve team knowledge and capabilities for a wide range of agribusiness uses.

Ō Pūkenga | About You

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in rural valuations alongside a tertiary qualification in Property Valuation. With advanced experience in excel for analysis and reporting, you will have the ability to take insights from data and write reports.

As a proactive team player, you will be able to work autonomously in a fast paced environment. You will bring outstanding communication and stakeholder management experience with the ability to build strong relationships. You will also bring:

  • Experience within and understanding of NZ's agribusiness sector
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and principles
  • Able to work independently with good time management skills
