Gibbons are looking for a Development Business Manager to join their Team. A new position, this role works closely with the MD and CEO to identify and develop opportunities to acquire land and develop buildings for existing and targeted tenants. Leading a team of Project Managers and using the Stagegate process, you will ensure projects are initiated and well planned from inception to completion. Developing and nurturing strong industry connections, you will leverage these relationships to identify and actualise opportunities consistent with developing assets, not just in Nelson, but in key growth centres throughout New Zealand.
We are looking for a talented individual that has a combination of leadership, commercial property development and project management experience. You will need to demonstrate the ability to manage projects from initial client contact, feasibility and design detail, through to handover for the construction phase. In addition, you have prior experience leading teams to deliver quality projects on time and on budget. Networking, establishing credibility and respect with existing and potential clients is a key part of this role; ideally you will also bring strong existing industry connections.
