What would you be doing?
Real estate in New Zealand is an absolute cornerstone of our economy, and an influencing factor in the strategies of businesses, government, local councils, developers, and institutions.
In this burgeoning industry, you will help clients to manage their real estate to optimise returns and operational efficiency. Real estate is a long-term asset and must be managed in a way that is aligned with strategy from the very beginning, which is something we have built a reputation on.
Based in our Wellington office, you will work on advisory and transaction assignments with the private sector, government, councils, investors, developers, and institutions to solve their most complex property issues, delivering solutions that go to the heart of their goals.
Your role will involve:
Working with leaders and team members principally within the Real Estate unit to deliver high-quality advice on a broad range of property issues to a range of public and private sector clients
Contributing to driving and leading the delivery of our engagements including client relationship management and business development
Leading the day to day execution and technical aspects of projects, including the review of technical analysis, financial modeling and research, and resolving complex project matters with the project team
What do you need to bring to the role?
Highly experienced in a real estate advisory role with strong commercial and financial acumen
Valuation and/or consulting experience, working with private sector clients
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and proven business development abilities
Understanding of commercial property development processes
Strong financial modeling skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ideally, a good grasp of the Wellington regional market
