The Trust and Property Business Manager is a key position fundamental in the delivery of our vision and business priorities. This position leads the Trust & Property Business Team and reports directly through to the Trust and Property Director. This is a great opportunity for someone to make a real difference, with strong backing at senior leadership level.

He angitūtanga: About the Role:

The Trust and Property Business manager is primarily responsible for the effective leadership of the Trust and Property Business team this includes:

  • Approving and supporting tenancy and leasing activities from a business and administration perspective.
  • Leading change initiatives to support the development of organisational capability.
  • Ensuring collaborative, efficient and consistent approaches to the trust and property services Te Tumu Paeroa delivers across New Zealand.
  • Working collaboratively with the Asset Management Team Manager, the Trust & Property Operations Manager and Trust & Property Director.

He korero mou: What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience in lease management, arrears control, and team management/development.
  • An understanding of or background in rural land management and/or a background in land valuation is advantageous, but not essential.
  • A high level of organisation with the ability to manage different priorities and projects.
  • An interest and ability to learn about new systems and processes.
  • An inclusive and approachable working style and an analytical approach to issues.
  • Strong relationship management skills – an ability to develop relationships by working with and through others to achieve outcomes.
  • A desire and ability to practice Te Reo and an understanding of Tikanga Māori on a day to day level.
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.
