The Property Group Limited (TPG) is New Zealand’s largest independent specialist property consultancy. We are leading and contributing to a diverse range of projects in the property industry and are on the on the hunt for property consultants to join our Whangārei team.

About the job

Our property consultancy team are a talented group of people and apply their expertise, knowledge, and passion in the work they do for our clients every day.  This is an exciting opportunity to join our property team and contribute to important projects that impact all New Zealanders such as transport, housing, and education. Some of the work you will be involved with on a typical day includes: 

  • advising Crown Agencies, Councils and/or private investment entities and delivering their property strategies and projects
  • negotiating property acquisitions for large scale infrastructure projects
  • facilitating and managing the disposal of Local and Central Government owned land that is surplus to requirements
  • due diligence, property and project related investigations and assessments
  • researching property data and attending to analysis and/or feasibility studies to inform project decision making and implementation
  • join our small Whangārei office, supported by both our Auckland office and wider National team

About you

You will stand out to us if you have the following

With experience in property under your belt, you will have a good understanding of the property industry.

You will be comfortable dealing with clients and be committed to delivering a superior client experience, acting as a problem-solver and thinking creatively to find solutions. A background in a consultancy environment would be a plus but not a deal breaker.

You will be an excellent communicator, able to write and present your ideas clearly and confidently. Most importantly you will be focused on quality and always take pride in your work.

With a variety of projects constantly on the go, you’ll be a team player and happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.  You are accountable and take responsibility for your contribution within a multi team project delivery. Building strong relationships and working collaboratively will be second nature to you.
