The Strategic Investment and Commercial Facilitation team within the Strategy and Growth Department has a fixed term 12 month position available for a Strategic Property Advisor commencing February 2021.
This team contributes to the delivery of Council objectives through the provision of professional in-house property advice and strategic input into property acquisition, property disposal and other technical services. The role will manage, undertake and be responsible for the preparation and completion of a range of acquisition and disposal projects to optimise outcomes for Council. This is a challenging, diverse and rewarding role.
This role involves engaging with land owners and the development community, and working closely with many internal teams and technical experts within Council such as Transportation, City & Infrastructure Planning, Property, Waters Strategy, Spaces & Places and Community Development to deliver development outcomes.
This role will report to the Team Leader: Strategic Property.
We are looking for someone who has a tertiary qualification in property, planning, law, or other relevant fields and preferably local government exposure.
