 What will you do?

In this full time permanent position you will foster a positive Health & Safety culture in all operations teams. You will lead a team of dedicated Health & Safety professionals and provide subject matter expertise.

 You will:

  • Operate with health and safety as a key focus at all times and ensure your duties and those of your teams are carried out in-line with our health and safety policy.
  • Support a safety-first working environment, model and communicate our culture and behaviours.
  • Provide leadership to your team and those you support, motivating and inspiring the team to deliver work safely and to a high standard.
  • Create an environment where team members have appropriate opportunity to be involved in safety, are actively engaged with it and where health and safety successes are celebrated and challenges are dealt with.

 Who are you?

 Proven experience leading a team of H&S specialists and growing H&S culture and behaviours

  • Experience in an Operations H&S Management role in a large and complex organisation, preferably with experience in the industries of facilities / property / healthcare
  • Proven experience in development of operations H&S systems
  • Proven experience ensuring procedures and policies for risk assessment and hazard identification are sound and compliant.
  • You will hold a recognised and relevant H&S qualification
  • You communicate effectively and can influence, persuade and guide others
  • You are flexible and adaptable and adjust your style to work effectively with different people
