 Bayleys Realty Group provides professional services to over 90 Bayleys offices throughout New Zealand and Fiji including Marketing, Training, PR, Auctions and Research.  The well established and respected Research team is an integral part of this group producing detailed property research on all major property sectors on a nationwide basis to be used by the wider Bayleys network and other property professionals.

Reporting to the National Research Manager you will work alongside others in the research, marketing and communications team and undertake a variety of duties including:

The research, analysis and writing of reports for property markets throughout New Zealand.  This will require travel in New Zealand to carry out field work and meet with appropriate personnel operating in the local market.

  • Liaising with the various Bayleys divisions and offices to determine their Research requirements and implementing these initiatives.
  • Assist in the securing and delivery of external consultancy assignments
  • Undertake presentations on Research findings to Bayleys clients and internal teams.
  • Assist in the ongoing maintenance and development of Bayleys Research databases.

 Bayleys Research provides a strong supportive team environment.  The division is made up of people who are prepared to contribute positively to the overall team’s efforts while also taking on personal responsibility for their individual assignments.  A relevant tertiary qualification is required this may be a Bachelor of Property or Commerce/Economics or relevant industry experience like Commercial Property Management, Valuation  or a Bank Business Analyst. Other requirements include previous work experience giving you a good understanding of the commercial and residential property market, strong Microsoft suite skills,  excellent communication skills , the ability to write reports and adapt the style to a variety of writing requirements plus have good numeracy skills.  This role liaises with a lot of internal and external contacts so you must have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and be able to travel throughout the Group from time to time.
