Putting people first and building trusted relationships is what drives our Facilities, Property and Planning team. They really go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the smooth and successful running of over 1600 leases on the Councils portfolio. Not to rest on their laurels they are constantly looking at ways to improve their response rates and methods as to safeguard those important relationships.
Due to a retirement in the team we now have a vacancy for a Leasing Consultant. As they deal with a wide variety of leases and buildings - your experience in a busy environment where you're used to being kept on your toes will not bother you in the slightest. Your unflappable personality will rise above any difficult queries that may come across your desk whilst having a "problem solving" attitude.
With a big portfolio your experience across a complex range of leases will come in handy - no two days are the same and your ability to prioritise will be tested in this autonomous role. As you are the key point of contact you'll have outstanding written and oral communication skills. You'll be articulate and responsive and have a nous for picking up on social cues - some phone calls require urgent action so having an empathetic nature is really important.
As the role deals with negotiations your ability to process information quickly and effectively will make a huge impact on the development of those key customer relationships. There is an element of speaking in front of groups of people so your confident and level headed personality will be useful in explaining matters in a way everyone can understand.
Being an experienced Leasing consultant will mean that you have a degree qualification in a property related discipline with at least five years experience. We offer the chance to work with some of Christchurch's most iconic buildings and being a part of the bigger picture of making this city tick is something that will tickle your fancy!
Don't wait - these opportunities are as rare as hens teeth - apply now and Join us!
