About the role

We are looking for a talented people manager to provide leadership to our large and varied facilities team. As our new facilities supervisor you will ensure great service is provided by the facilities team across all our properties. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our health and safety standards are met. With a business case being made to redevelop the Nelson Hospital site; this is an exciting time to join Nelson Marlborough Health and to take an important role in the delivery of quality maintenance and new works that is integral to the delivery of health care in our district.

About you

You will bring experience working in facilities in a complex environment. You will have demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to get the best out of your team. You will have a sound understanding of building, infrastructure and property. A proven ability to plan work, drive your team and provide first rate customer service will be paramount to your success Experience in the health sector would be advantageous, but is not essential. A sound working knowledge of Health and Safety practices is important.
