Job Description

Bayleys commercial property management team looks after properties in the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Taranaki region. Due to growth they are currently looking for an experienced Facilities Manager/commercial property manager to step into this permanent position and join the Commercial Property Management team.  The portfolio consists of a diverse range of properties and you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • General administration relating to the portfolio
  • Tenant / Client relationship management
  • Leasing of premises in conjunction with the leasing team
  • Managing Critical Dates including lease renewal and negotiations
  • Reports to clients
  • Budgets / Washups
  • Project management
  • Health and safety and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with the wider Bayleys teams

The position reports to the Senior property manager and works alongside others it the team. We  assume you will possess  the standard expectations of excellent organisation and communication skills, attention to detail, good computer skills and a willingness to learn.  You must not only be a team player but to be able to work independently as well.  

It is expected that you will have previous experience in the Commercial Property industry and/or a degree in Property is preferable. The role will suit someone who has previously worked in Commercial Property Managers role to assume responsibility for this diverse portfolio of properties. The role also includes the working knowledge of Facilities Management, health and safety and compliance for these properties.

Bayleys is situated in the Tauranga office who  share the building with the wider sales and corporate team creating diversity that and creates a fast paced and vibrant atmosphere.
