The Company
Absolute Value undertakes commercial building valuations in Auckland's Office, Retail, and Industrial markets as well as specialising in Childcare, Medical asset types nationwide. We are a fast paced, young, fun and inclusive team based in Auckland CBD focused on a range of properties throughout the region. We’re currently undergoing significant advancements and we are looking to expand our team immediately in valuations to lay the foundation for developing additional property specializations in-house.
The Role – Part Time / Full Time Valuers
We currently have an opportunity for part time and full-time valuers to join our team. This is a chance to join a fast-paced business exposing yourself to various and exciting Auckland properties and projects and will work within an experienced, diverse and inclusive team.
You will need to possess and demonstrate:
- An eye for detail, sound mathematical and analytical abilities and the confidence to make decisions;
- Great computer skills, in particular with Excel and Word;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- The ability to complete work quickly within time limits;
- The ability to converse and talk freely with people as you will need to communicate confidently; and
- A team player attitude, drive, initiative, enthusiasm, a sense of humour and a “go-getter” mentality.
- Have completed a property degree at any recognised Tertiary Institutions
Professional Memberships to RICS/PINZ and Valuer Registration are supported whilst developing in-depth knowledge and industry wide networks in the New Zealand property market.
Potential to participate in business development activities and leadership.
The successful applicants will have the opportunity to earn from $60,000 - $120,000 per annum base salary plus commissions/bonuses, working as little as 20 - 40 hours per week.

Absolute Value New Zealand Limited is an independent commercial property valuation and advisory firm founded by registered valuer and director Ryan Impson. With aspirations of business ownership and over 15 years of exposure to the commercial property valuation and financing industries, Ryan established the company in late 2012, with Auckland being the hub of operations. His aim was to provide a fresh perspective on commercial property and valuations, as well as building a new respectable name in the industry.

Our valuation reports are accepted by all major banks and we service clients throughout the Auckland region as well as nation-wide portfolio’s, for a wide range of property asset types and markets. We are continually striving to provide absolute value for all our clients and ensure meaningful and long lasting relationships are formed, because we understand commercial property is more than just a number.
